Histone deacetylases is one of the class I Histone deacetylases and has been encoded by its gene in humans. Since Histone deacetylases has been overexpressed in a variety of human cancers, it has been employed as one of the attractive therapeutic anticancer targets based on structural features of this protein and inhibitory activity and selectivity of targeting drugs.
