Persistent back pain is a prevalent and challenging condition that significantly affects the quality of life for many individuals. Traditional medical interventions often focus on physical aspects, such as medications and physical therapy. However, there is growing interest in exploring complementary approaches that target psychological and emotional aspects of pain perception. The research employed a randomized controlled trial design with a sample of [number] participants diagnosed with persistent back pain. Participants were randomly assigned to either an intervention group, where they received a brief directed symbolism session, or a control group receiving standard care.
